North Olmsted fosters a strong value in education. Expensive renovations and repairs drained funds from the city and they looked to the future to build a new grade 6 though 12 campus that would replace the middle and high school, saving taxpayers money in the long run.
Strong communication and transparency was key to win the hearts and minds of voters. Here, a newsletter was created and mailed throughout the city. Postcards and other materials followed, and in November, voters said yes to Issue 9, paving the way for a new building to usher in a brighter future for North Olmsted.
